Prof. Gevork B. Gharehpetian is a distinguished professor at Amirkabir University of Technology. He holds a PhD from the University of Tehran (German scholarship), is among the top 1% of highly cited scientists worldwide, and has received multiple national and international awards, including Iran's Top Professor and Top Energy Researcher. He is Editor-in-Chief of the IAEEE journal and author of over 1,500 papers. His expertise includes smart grids, microgrids, FACTS, HVDC, and power transformer monitoring.

According to the Public Relations Department of the conference, Dr. Hamidreza Baghaee, faculty member of Tarbiat Modares University and a distinguished researcher in the fields of power systems, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, has been selected as a keynote speaker for the "Renewable Energy Systems and Emerging Technologies 2026" conference.
